Black Tulle and lined Velveteen Handmade Gown 1940-50s Estate Find!

This tiered tulle gown was handmade. It was made and worn in the 1940-50 era. This was bought at an estate sale of a woman who had passed at age 98. Her attic was filled with her clothes and items from the early 1900-1960s as well as her mothers items. This was totally smashed into a trunk in the attic, I have steamed it and it revived the tulle. There is a satin type lining on the bodice and the skirt with additional tulle layer under skirt. It will need professional cleaning. It has hung in my shop and in my home for the last 2 years. The sleeves are about 22" long and have zipper closing. The velveteen bodice has a zipper closing. It measures about 17" across shoulders X 56" from shoulder to hem X 24" waist X 34" bust. It is a sweet gown and on a proper dress form and with another steaming will present well. Please message if you have questions. It will be carefully packed to ship and will need to be re-steamed upon arrival.
